"First Steps"

In northern Idaho, white-tailed deer usually give birth to their fawns in early June, often having twins and sometimes even triplets. I found this mother doe with her wobbly new fawn next to a pond. I quickly took a few pictures and then retreated a distance away to see that the doe had a second fawn hidden in the grass to left of the view of this image! This image may be ordered as an unmounted photograph or the photograph may be ordered mounted and double matted. Please see the prints for information regarding photographs and matting options.
