"Camas Flowers" |
About the Image Camas is a member of the lily family that grows throughout western North America, mostly in meadow areas that are wet during the winter and early spring. Native Americans harvested camas bulbs and they may have even lit fires on the camas prairies to help a better crop of camas grow. Camas flowers can be from light lavendar to these dark purple-blue specimens.
